A short letter for the best person in the world.

Hey Boot,

I hope this small letter finds you well.

I want to apologize for the spelling errors and grammatical mistakes that I’ll make.

I want this to be authentic and hopefully cute as shit.

I want you to know what an amazing person you are.

I want you to know that you’ve helped a deeply troubled idiot become a somewhat functioning idiot.

I want you to know what the world looks like with you in it.

It’s random and beautiful. Even if I want to rip my hair out because of the crazy missions you want to take, I eventually have a wonderful time because I get to hang out with your crazy ass.

I find myself wanting to rescue every dog I see on the street, even though I know it’s a horrible idea.

You force me to be confident, even though I don’t want to.

You’ve taught me to love someone from the deepest part of the heart. Even if I don’t know what that looks like at times, you’ve shown me, and I want to live up to your examples.

You’ve taught me that boiled shrimp covered in copious amounts of butter is a wonderful food.

You’ve held me in the darkest times, even when I should have been the one holding you.

Even though I hate when you pop my pimples, I know that my body is thankful.

You got me to like Brides Maids. Brides Maids is a total chick flick and I love that shit!

You’ve shown me that making changes isn’t scary.

You’ve shown that I can have fun painting or drawing, even if I suck ass.

You are amazing, beautiful, splendid, courageous, brave, spontaneous, and powerful. I’m glad that I know you in case I need someone to jump dummies at the dog park.

This letter seems all over the place, but I’m sure you’ll get what I’m saying.

We better still do dumb shit when we’re riding around in a wheelchair.
