How the Hell Can We Live an Epic Life?
Co-Pilot and I team up to share some of our favorite tips for living a badass life.
Hey, you degenerate,
Welcome to Substack’s whackiest newsletter, This is Your Mind Ranting!
I hope you’re nursing that 4th of July hangover. I myself am tired of waiting hours for ribs to take in a bunch of smoke flavor.
Anyway, let’s get on with today’s post.
My friend, it’s a little difficult trying to build an epic life. It sucks even more if you don’t know where to start or what to avoid.
Don’t worry though!
My 3rd favorite AI tool and I are here to help all of us with getting a jump start on living a badass life.
Here's what AI and my cave man brain came up with when it comes to figuring out how to make good use of our time and energy to claim what we desire.
A robot’s responses to our silliest questions aren’t all bad.
If you enjoyed today’s post, share it with your friends and family. subscribe if you’d like more.
P.S. I asked Co-Pilot to help me with this post; its quotes will be in bold.
AI and Crush to The Rescue
Don't Be a Fatty- Crush
One great start to becoming someone with an envious life is to lose some belly fat. Sure, there are the Rick Ross's, Action Bronsons, DJ Khaleds, and Matty Mathesons of the world to try to become—lovable big men who do even bigger things. We aren't built like that. I'm also willing to bet they're not happy being so big (Bronson lost weight and has spoken about it to Men's Health).
We don't have to look like Greek Gods either. Some of us weren't blessed with great genetics. The healthiest version of us might be a small wall of fat behind thick abs or a few cheat meals from becoming skinny fat. Being healthy has been linked to more energy and more career opportunities (because someone who cares about their body will give a damn about their work).
I'm fat. I've been fat and I can tell you how annoying it is trying to focus on a project without wanting to eat the greasiest food. It's no bueno.
Explore Your Interests: Dive into your passions and hobbies. They can lead you to unexpected and fulfilling paths in life -Co-Pilot
Who says your passion for collecting Funk Pops, building Lego sets, smoking meat, or being an Only Fans simp is stupid? AI is instructing all of us to see the upper limits of what our passions can provide.
Discover what matters to you. It's your damn life.
Write often, even if it sucks ass- Crush
Writing has blessed me in many ways. I'm able to talk better. I can think clearly. I'm not afraid to speak my mind (in an intelligent manner). It needs to bring me a bazillion dollars and I'll be content.
In all seriousness, writing can be fun. Writing can be therapeutic. Writing can help you pitch your ideas with finesse and confidence. Sure, we have AI to write up project plans or ideas for us, but we must still exercise our creative writing to remain alive.
Embrace Lifelong Learning: Stay curious and open to new experiences. Learning new things can enhance your sense of purpose and happiness-Co-Pilot
The people living epic lives always have something to learn. Education didn't stop after smoking a bunch of weed in high school and narrowly passing their required courses in college. Most of what's learned in school is dumped in favor of memes memorized by heart and hot takes about what rules to add in the NBA (introduce fist fights to settle defensive/offensive fouls).
There is so much to learn and not enough time to master it all. This fact shouldn't discourage us from learning until it's our time to pass. Let us pick up wisdom from different industries and regions in the world.
Sing like an idiot- Crush
Our voice is a gift. We are the only known species (aliens?) to use our voice's range to tell a story alongside some sick-ass beats or song structures.
Why not use it to let out the most epic rendition of George Michael's "Careless Whisper"? It'll sound like shit, but you shouldn't give a damn. Music is good for your soul and mental health.
Singing your favorite tunes will only amplify those benefits.
And finally,
Reflect on Your Life’s Impact: Think about how you want to be remembered and the legacy you wish to leave behind. This can help clarify your purpose- Co-Pilot
Do you want to be remembered as a coward? Come to think of it, cowards are never remembered or end up being a Netflix documentary side character. There is no guarantee your purpose will be grand or universe-altering, but we aren't all trying or can't send our species to Mars, donate a library to our alma mater, or cure cancer. Maybe we want to be revered as a decent writer who inspired others to change their lives, a small business owner who treated their workers like family, or the best parents to our kids. There's nothing wrong with that.
Do your best work and you'll have a wonderful legacy.
Co-Pilot could have put together a better post than me, but I don't care. I'm glad I "contributed" to the work.
Co-Pilot had more to say, but it was rubbish like "Surround Yourself with Positivity”.
I hope you found this information insightful. May it inspire you to create your own epic life.
I wish you good luck on the journey.
Adios.
